Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
The Littlestown Area School District is seeking a highly qualified Extended Term Substitute Guidance Counselor for Littlestown Senior High School starting on February 29, 2024 through April 29, 2024 of the 2023-2024 school year. Preference given to candidates with experience in, or with strong knowledge of, the post-secondary admissions process, including college research, financial aid, transition planning, and collaboration with college personnel.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Counselor Education
PA Certification – Secondary School Counseling
Candidate must have a strong desire to support first generation college goers by creating a positive environment for these students and their families. Candidate must commit to provide academic, career, and personal / social development to all students and community utilizing the ASCA model.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This professional position is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement. Position begins at the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
