Job Description

Job Summary
The Fashion Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the apparel/fashion team to ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and presented according to company visual standards. This role focuses on team leadership, customer experience, merchandising execution, and operational excellence within the fashion department.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development

Lead, motivate, and support Fashion Associates to meet daily goals
Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure timely completion of work
Train, coach, and develop associates on merchandising, zoning, and customer service
Provide feedback and support performance management discussions

Merchandising & Visual Standards

Ensure apparel, accessories, and footwear are stocked and zoned correctly
Execute visual merchandising, modular integrity, and seasonal resets
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floors
Ensure correct pricing, signing, and promotional displays

Customer Experience

Deliver a positive, service‑focused shopping experience
Assist customers with product location, sizing, and general fashion inquiries
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

Operations & Inventory

Oversee freight processing, replenishment, and backroom organization
Ensure accurate inventory levels and proper merchandise handling
Follow shrink prevention and safety procedures
Use handheld devices and systems to track inventory and tasks

Store Support

Support store‑wide initiatives and assist other departments as needed
Communicate effectively with other team leads and management
Help prepare the department for peak business periods and special events

Work Environment

Retail apparel environment
Frequent customer interaction
Fast‑paced, visually driven setting

Job Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail experience preferred; leadership experience a plus
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to coach and influence others positively
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements
