Job Description
As a part of the Department of Human Resources, you will develop, implement, and maintain various recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to help promote a collaborative employment relationship. You will work closely with recruiting team members and county hiring managers to support organizational staffing needs.
Essential Duties
• Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career days, and candidate outreach events. Assist with establishment of community partnerships.
• Research, identify, and recommend candidate sourcing tools and talent pipeline development strategies through social media, job boards, and career sites.
• Generate ideas, then create and design plans for various onboarding, recruitment, and retention initiatives as well as other HR projects.
• Help to build county employment culture and engagement through social media communication and other HR projects and events.
• Participate in the evaluation, development, and utilization of HRIS system and county career center.
• Develop and analyze HRIS tracking/metrics to evaluate success and make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and engagement activities.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of position descriptions, competency administration, and career development programs.
• Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment.
