Job Description

We are seeking a commercial HVAC technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working primarily during normal business hours. Some after hours and weekend work should be anticipated.

OEM Support Services is the service division for Ward-Boland Associates. Ward-Boland is the local representative for Liebert, Greenheck, Bard, and others. Our main office is located in Owings Mills and our satellite offices are in Frederick and Dagsboro, DE.

Job Description:
– Provide start-up, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of light commercial HVAC systems
– Complete startup reports as required by the manufacturers
– Provide accurate and detailed service reports in a timely manner
– Assist Ward-Boland’s sales team with technical support as needed
– Attend factory training for the manufacturers that we represent, particularly Liebert (Vertiv) and Greenheck. Our technicians become the local “experts” on these products.

Most of the manufacturers that we service are are those represented by Ward-Boland.

Job Requirements

Mandatory 3 years commercial HVAC field experience
Professional Appearance
Valid MD Drivers License (no more than 3 points)
Journeyman HVAC License or Apprentice
CFC Certification – Minimum type 1 and type 2
Pre-employment Screening

Wages per hour: $28 – $35 per hour, based on experience
