Job Description

As the Legislative Liaison, you will represent Carroll County on legislative and regulatory issues at the local, regional, State, and Federal level. Working closely with County staff, you will analyze legislative/regulatory developments to determine impact on Carroll County Government and its citizens. The Board of County Commissioners will rely upon you to promote Carroll County’s interests and act as the County’s representative to the General Assembly and the Governor’s Office.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration or a related field
• Five or more years of related experience
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
• Valid driver’s license
• Will be required to work outside of standard hours.
