Join Our Team at Carroll Lutheran Village! We’re currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to become part of our caring and mission-driven community. This position will be Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm and with on-call status.

What You’ll Do as a CLV Maintenance Technician:

Work on a beautiful campus with new buildings.
​​​​​​Be self-sufficient with the ability to create one’s own work to effectively reduce resident work order requests.
Assist in the planning and performing of such duties as needed for a safe and functional operational maintenance program in the following areas:
1.Perform electrical, plumbing, water, air, steam, and/or other production equipment tasks

2.Troubleshoot and maintenance of building utilities

3.Perform HVAC tasks

4.Operate automated control systems

5.Install, maintain, and repair series and multiple lighting systems

6.Ensure all equipment and functions comply with safety requirements

7.Assist in general facilities upkeep, Grounds Care: Clean-up of parking lots, access roads, snow removal, etc.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Certificate plus two years technical training or equal, or two years experience.
Certification in HVAC a plus
License: Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
The position requires expertise in any ONE of the following and basic skills in the remaining categories:
AC and Refrigeration
Electrical
Mechanical
Plumbing
Kitchen equipment
Carpentry and Finishing skills
.Pneumatic/Electronic Systems and Controls
Vehicles
General Building

Driver’s License, Driver’s Record Check, H.S. Diploma/GED, Heavy Lifting, Physical Required, Drug Test Required, Background Check
