Job Description

Carroll Lutheran School, a growing K-8 private Christian school in Westminster, MD, is hiring a full-time Middle School Social Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in education and will possess a current teaching certification in the appropriate grade levels and content area. Candidates in the process of earning or renewing their certification can apply, as can those who earned their certification after their Bachelor’s Degree in an alternative area of study. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency with instructional technology, the ability to differentiate instruction, and a positive, team-oriented approach are crucial in this role.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in education, current or in-progress teaching certification, preferred teaching experience, strong communication skills, tech proficiency, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a team setting.
