Job Description

The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at a food distribution facility by monitoring access to the property, verifying employee and visitor credentials, controlling entry and exit points from the security booth, and documenting all site activity. The officer will conduct regular observations of the facility grounds, monitor surveillance systems, report suspicious activity, enforce site policies, and assist with incident response as needed. The guard serves as a visible deterrent to theft, unauthorized access, and other security concerns while maintaining professional interactions with employees, vendors, and visitors. The job is located in Westminster, Maryland.

Job Requirements

Reliable transportation
Active Maryland Guard Card (required – out-of-state licenses not accepted)
Valid, non-expired state-issued ID
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Wages per hour: $18.50
