POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is to complete tasks as directed by the Shop Manager in providing clerical, administrative or labor support in the management of Company equipment and vehicle fleet. This is typically the entry level position in the Shop Division.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Order accessories and parts as directed, communicate status of orders
Count, log, and track parts inventory using applicable system
Lift, carry, move arrange parts or materials
Sweep, shovel, rake, or wash areas around the shop
Operate forklift to transport materials and parts
Drive company truck to pick up/deliver parts as needed (if 21 or over)
Other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES:
Communication skills, ability to comprehend instruction
Ability to read and write English
Valid driver’s license, relatively clean driving record (if 21 or over)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Entry level-no experience required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:
Work is performed in an outdoor setting. Must be able to function in the following environments: inclement weather, heat, humidity, traffic, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching are required outside in the weather for extended periods during the shift.
The ability to sit for 6-8 hours per day in 2–3-hour intervals.
Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
Regular and peripheral vision sufficient to safely operate forklift equipment in an active work area and perform job functions as described above.
