Job Description

Sustainable Energy Systems is a renewable energy design and installation company based in Frederick, Maryland. Since 2008, we have been dedicated to building a sustainable energy future by installing efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly renewable energy systems. Our work combines innovation with high-quality construction practices to ensure long-lasting, reliable installations.
We are seeking a hardworking Solar Installer to join our team. This role involves roofing, electrical, and carpentry work, key components of solar construction. The ideal candidate enjoys physical, hands-on work, working outdoors, and collaborating with a team to promote renewable energy.
No prior solar experience required—construction experience and proficiency with hand and power tools are preferred!

Job Requirements

~Perform roofing, electrical, and carpentry work as part of solar construction projects.
~Work on pitched roofs using climbing gear and safety equipment
~Carry up to 50 lbs and handle installation materials safely
~Use hand tools and power tools (impact drills, sawzalls, hammer drills, etc.)
~Drive trucks and trailers up to 16′ to transport equipment
~Work closely with a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
~Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site

Wages per hour: Starting $35,360.00-$44,480.00
