What You Will Do
As the Volunteer Coordinator for the Farm Museum, you will recruit and schedule volunteers for various Museum events. Representing the County at local events, you will engage the community in volunteer activities. The Farm Museum Manager will rely on you to liaise between volunteers and County staff.
Essential Duties
Coordinate volunteers and provide direction with a focus on providing exemplary customer service. Liaise between current Museum volunteers and County staff.
Schedule volunteers for various Museum events, including large festivals. Complete tracking procedures for volunteers and volunteer hours.
Communicate and engage community in volunteer activities. Represent the Museum at various local events focusing on volunteer recruitment.
Coordinate and maintain volunteer training and recognition programs.
File documents and maintain paper and computer records management/file systems.
Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
