Job Description

The Water Treatment Apprentice Operator I will be involved in the production of clean drinking water for County residents. You will work under the direction of a supervisor and your day-to-day work activities will include assisting with the safe operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities within the County.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Up to one year of related experience
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must apply for a Maryland Temporary Operator Class 4 Water Treatment Plant license within 30 days of hire date.
• Department of Transportation (DOT) physical card
