New Program Helps Train CDL Drivers

“Christopher C. came into Carroll County Workforce Development in October 2021. It took Chris time to settle on an employment goal of CDL. Chris began training with Carroll Community College in March 2022 and successfully completed in May 2022. Chris obtained his CDL-A on May 24, 2022. On October 10, 2022, Chris began working for Tevis Energy as a Delivery Driver while obtaining his B Class Hazmat Tanker endorsement. Chris’ new position provided him with a $7.00 per hour increase.”
