Job Description
• Phone coverage in the Caring Carroll Office Monday- Friday from 9 am- 2 pm with office coverage provided from 9 am – 3pm. (25%)
Responding to phone messages left after closing on the next business day.
Greeting office visitors
• Use Assisted Rides software to schedule and monitor rides, services and activities (40%)
Obtain contact information for new care receiver requests and forward information to ED for review.
Work with home visiting team for new enrollments.
Enter pertinent information into the Assisted Rides Database.
Send newly enrolled care receiver copies of completed intake forms.
Medical appointments will be the highest priority
Create and obtain reports from the Assisted Rides database as directed by ED
Contact provider offices to confirm appointment and details
Provide resource information to potential and registered Care Receivers
• Communicates with care receivers, volunteers, and donors per direction of Executive Director (15%)
Post information to the agency’s Facebook page as directed Type, copy, and mail bulk letters
Compose and forward group e-mails to volunteers, care receivers, and community partners
Providing updates to the Caring Carroll Board
• Running errands and providing transportation for care receivers, as needed (eligible for mileage reimbursement) (5%)
Conducting occasional home visits to acquire signatures/payment from new or existing care receivers (eligible for mileage reimbursement)
• Participating in fundraising activities such as: Network For Good (fundraising software) data entry, thank you letters or other correspondence, accepting donations in the office. (15%)
Minimal weekend and evening event coverage as requested by Executive Director
• Keeping office clean, and organized, including trash removal weekly
• Attend committee and networking meetings as directed by Executive Director
• Additional duties as required
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required
Previous job experience of at least one year in customer service-oriented field
Must maintain confidentiality regarding care receiver and volunteer information
PREFERRED SKILLS
Must be familiar with use of computer and phone
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Publisher
Data input from spreadsheet and paper files
Courteous phone etiquette
Prioritize work load daily
Must be able to work independently
Obtain direction and clarification from Executive Director
Current driver’s license and auto insurance
