Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and an in-depth understanding of engineering principles, materials, and safety standards. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze structural systems for a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of designs.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for construction purposes.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project designs meet client requirements, safety standards, and regulations.
Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or maintenance.
Monitor construction progress to ensure structural design is being implemented correctly.
Review and approve construction materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and provide solutions to mitigate them.
Stay updated with advancements in materials, technologies, and regulatory changes in the structural engineering field.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified period.
Proven experience as a structural engineer with at least [X] years of experience in the field.
In-depth knowledge of structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).
Familiarity with local and international building codes and safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
