The Maryland Division of Labor and Industry invites you to attend these no-cost informative workshops at the Carroll County/Business Employment Resource Center in Westminster:

This is MOSH
This workshop provides an overview on steps you can take to improve workplace safety and health, as well as prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.

Wage and Hour Information and Laws / Maryland Healthy Working Families Act (SHRM/HRCI)
In the Wage and Hour workshop, we will provide information on enforcement of laws concerning wages and time off, and more!
The MHWFA/Sick and Safe Leave presentation will provide an overview and clarification of the law.

Prevailing Wage / Worker Classification (SHRM/HRCI)

This workshop will cover what constitutes a prevailing wage project and how prevailing wage rates are determined in Maryland.
The Worker Classification workshop focuses on how to Distinguish an employee from an independent contractor, and provides a better understanding of the laws pertaining to worker classification.
