Westminster, MD – April 11, 2018 – The Carroll County Business/Employment Resource Center (BERC) is hosting a Spring Job Fair on Thursday, May 3rd, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the BERC office located at 224 North Center Street in Westminster. Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction – job seekers will learn about local employment opportunities. Local businesses are actively recruiting to fill open positions in a variety of industry sectors.   Attendees will have access to employers seeking candidates for positions in customer service, hospitality, education, health care, information technology, manufacturing, trade, government, sales, and everything in between.

“Spring is the perfect time for growth and new beginning. The county continues to provide workforce resources to respond to the community’s needs. There is no cost to attend the job fair and typically hundreds of job seekers attend this exciting event where businesses and job seekers connect.” said BERC Manager Denise Rickell.

BERC provides job search assistance to job seekers and directs qualified candidates to apply for local jobs along with offering recruitment assistance to businesses. At the Spring Job Fair, business representatives will be meeting prospective applicants, providing information about job openings, and accepting resumes and applications for a variety of positions.
