Job Description

Truss Assembler – Second Shift
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 12 AM
Over-time may be required during peak production.

– Assemble roof and floor trusses based on truss design by placing lumber in designated location according to laser blueprint and properly placing steel plates at each joint using staple gun and hydraulic press

-Review labels and paperwork to ensure accuracy and quality of truss assembly

-Operate overhead crane to place trusses on cart to prepare to be packaged and shipped

Starting pay $20.00/ per hour. Successful candidates are reliable with good job stability, reliable transportation, a great attitude and work ethic, and previous construction, manufacturing or physical labor job preferred.

Job Requirements

Second Shift openings at Shelter Systems located in Westminster, MD
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 12 AM
Over-time may be required during peak production.

Successful candidates are reliable with good job stability, reliable transportation, a great attitude and work ethic, and previous construction, manufacturing or physical labor job preferred.

Candidates will have to pass a drug screen, background check and must meet the essential functions of the job by passing a workplace physical, which includes bending, squatting, kneeling and be able to consistently lift 20 lbs overhead and as much as 75 lbs as required. EOE.
