Job Description

This is not a remote position, local candidates only please.
Responsibilities: To support HTG customers and projects, including:
 Operations and maintenance of multiple small water and wastewater systems, including routine sampling, monitoring, and operations.
 Troubleshooting mechanical or operating breakdowns.
 Installation of new wastewater systems.
 Construction inspection.
 Groundwater purging and sampling.
 Field testing equipment mobilization and operation.
 Cone penetrometer vehicle operation.
 Project record-keeping, maintaining field logs and spreadsheet data entry.
 HTG equipment repair, maintenance, and shop organization.

Job Requirements

Minimum Expectations: Candidates should demonstrate the following:
 Problem-solving and critical thinking skills and ability to work independently and multi-task on various projects within a small office environment.
 Strong work ethic, professionalism, and effective communication.
 Willing to work outdoors (including inclement weather), accommodate weather-dependent scheduling changes, and travel and carry up to 50-pound loads.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a current Water or Wastewater Operators license or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, current certification, a valid driver’s license, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. Previous experience as an environmental field technician, tradesperson, or licensed water and/or wastewater operator is desired.
